The grant covers online shops, websites, process automation and IT security. Your company needs a business location in Hessen, and the project must not have started yet. As a WIBank funding program, the digitization grant is one of the most important sources of funding for digitization in Hessen.
Two things that are often overlooked: the digitization grant is awarded only once per company. And the minimum investment is 4,000 euros net. Below that, there is no funding.

The process surprises most people: there is no queue. The WIBank uses a lottery. If you are prepared when the window opens, you have the decisive head start.

Submit your application
The WIBank opens a time window. Within this period, you register your company. This is not yet a full application, but an expression of interest.

Wait for the lottery
No first come, first served. The WIBank picks by lottery who may submit an application. All applications within the window have the same chance.

Apply and deliver the project
Selected companies submit the formal application through the WIBank portal. After approval, the project starts. At the end, you submit the receipts and receive the grant.
