HIS Renewables GmbH sees itself as a future-orientated solution provider for photovoltaic systems. The brand and website relaunch are set to prove that the company has far more to offer than just cables and components - and do it in record time.

Finding the connection

A new brand strategy sets the course for the project and brings extensive structural changes to the company. Communication should not only be standardised, but also consistently aligned with the needs of the target group. Analyses, target group interviews and workshops with HIS are essential for this in the initial phase.

Strong message

The brand slogan "Connecting Energy" sets the communicative framework for the brand and products and can be found in many places in the corporate design. Meanwhile, the new HIS logo is designed in such a way that design elements are also applied to the sister company HIK. Both companies speak the same visual language, but without giving up their individual identities.

Clear structure

The new website focuses on clear, targeted communication of solutions and products. To this end, existing company areas have been standardised and restructured. Users can now navigate between the two core areas "HIS Connect" and "HIS Energy" to find the desired solution without any detours.

Headless on the web

The previous rigid page structure is replaced by a new system for the relaunch. Storyblok was chosen as a high-performance CMS that meets the customer's needs: The new site is designed for flexible content creation and maintenance and offers the scalable technology for unlimited growth a company like HIS requires.

Modular content

When dealing with a large amount of content and languages for the new site, it quickly became clear that it was not the technology itself that challenged us, but the taming of a huge "content monster". We had to plan in advance which content would be maintained in modules or stored via dynamic links so that the site could be operated efficiently.

The corporate design forms the foundation of the new brand language and runs like a red thread through all aspects of the project: Principles defined in the brand concept flow into the logo, where lines and individual components combine to form the HIS word mark.

Successfully "connected"

The close and intensive collaboration with the client in the HIS project led us to valuable insights and an effective overall strategy within a short space of time, which we were able to develop holistically into the new brand. The project successfully demonstrates that it pays to go the "full distance" in order to meet the changing markets and the dynamic needs of your own target groups.
