Quality at the best prices attracts thousands to Thomas Philipps stores every day. To ensure that the digital shop window also shines, we have innovatively combined existing systems and the latest technology.
ERP boost for smart shoppers
Not off the peg: customised technology
Conjuring up a high-end boutique from a technical allround shop: Thomas Philipps' shop relaunch brought with it numerous requirements. The new system landscape now forms the centrepiece of the online shop and offers many functions that enhance the digital shopping experience.
Requirements for the system
Harmonise Xentral as the ERP system for the company's digital division with the parent company's ERP system.
Connection to Shopware 6 as the new shop system, for a high-performance display of the large product range, even with high traffic.
Automated processes, time-controlled special offers, intelligent upselling rules, creation of content-focussed landing pages.
Integration of practical functions that improve the shopping experience, such as watch lists, the provision of data sheets or store finders.
Customised middleware and optimal customer journey
The project not only included the relaunch of the ERP system and the shop, but also the development of middleware to supplement the missing functions in the ERP and enable data exchange between the various ERP systems. The user guidance and shop design were also convincing as a result. What was designed to be complex and extensive behind the scenes, impresses in the front end with clarity and practical features that are fun to use.
The collaboration was very structured right from the start and, above all, on a very pleasant human level. Many things were proactively suggested by ONEDOT so that we as a company could learn from their expertise and implement things together. Good and cost-acceptable solutions were quickly found for issues that could not be technically mapped in the standard system. The collaboration was always characterised by openness, solution orientation and friendliness.

Synchronisation of tasks and teams
I am particularly pleased that we were able to successfully complete each of the parallel sub-projects. The extremely positive feedback from Thomas Philipps shows that transparent communication at eye level and effective collaboration with all stakeholders make the difference in enormously challenging projects!

Bringing visions to life
Our ideas for expanding the Xentral interfaces were unique - and that's exactly what spurred us on! With our middleware, we have made the seemingly impossible possible. Now nothing stands in the way of the seamless integration of two ERP systems in Shopware 6.

A new interpretation of the tried and tested
Thomas Philipps has a recognition value that has been established over decades, and this should not be changed for the shop relaunch. Our result proves that a significant improvement in the user experience is also possible within clearly defined limits!
