brand relaunch

In close consultation with the HIK team, we conducted qualitative target group interviews, analysed existing content and moderated workshops that focused on values and target group needs. In doing so, we critically examined the existing website: Which messages are getting across? Where is there a lack of clarity? What is blocking an intuitive user journey?

The case study shows the result – here we tell the story behind it: how intensive workshops, honest reflection and new perspectives led to a clear brand strategy that repositioned HIK both internally and externally.

Concise message

One challenge was to design HIK and its sister company HIS as related brands without losing their independence. The new slogan ‘Partner of Innovation’ positions HIK as an active part of its clients' value chain. The technical design of the word mark reflects the modular structure of components, combining service and brand in a distinctive, independent design.

Modular design

Building on this design principle, we developed a flexible system that maps all design elements of the website in the form of editable modules. Each module is designed to combine seamlessly with others, regardless of content. This creates a consistent appearance that is visually appealing and offers maximum editorial freedom.

Convincing structure

Many clients were unaware of the full range of services and depth of value creation offered by HIK. Instead of technical details, the new website focuses on the concrete added value for clients. Content has been reduced, clearly structured and converted into modular storylines – for greater clarity, flexibility and target group relevance.

Efficient synergies

With Storyblok, we have developed an efficient backend that enables synergies between HIK and HIS while maintaining their independence. The solution uses central modules multiple times, which reduces the effort required for development and maintenance. The result is a scalable platform that positions both companies for the future – both in their connection and in their independence.
